Regarding Feedback from Airport Users
Measures to Address Heat Inside the Airport Terminal
We apologize for any discomfort caused by the heat in certain areas of the airport terminal.
In accordance with Japan’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation law, indoor temperatures are being appropriately managed in this building. In addition, the air-conditioning systems are being upgraded to improve cooling performance, while insulation measures are being applied to the building (glass surfaces), and countermeasures are being taken to prevent the inflow of hot outside air that contributes to indoor temperature increases.
We will continue striving to improve overall comfort, and we appreciate your understanding.
Measures to Alleviate Parking Lot Congestion
Regarding the use of the general parking facilities at Naha Airport, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by ongoing congestion.
As part of our congestion mitigation efforts, construction of a new multi-story parking structure on the south side has commenced and is scheduled for completion in FY 2030.
In addition, information on parking availability and congestion forecasts is provided on the Naha Airport website.
Furthermore, the use of public transportation is being encouraged through the website and radio broadcasts.
We will continue striving to improve convenience, and we appreciate your understanding.
